Bannie Kang has emerged as the winner of the Diageo World Class Bartender of the Year 2019!
Kang, a prolific competitor, is the 11th winner of the award. Having proven herself time and time again in numerous competitions, her skills and dedication are unquestionable.
All the same, we congratulate her for beating 52 finalists- some of the best bartenders from around the world- over days of intense competition.
On her win, Kang had the following to say:
“It still hasn’t quite sunk in that I’ve successfully beaten thousands of incredible bartenders from across six continents. It has been one amazing and fruitful experience that I will not forget. I’m truly elated and immensely honoured at the recognition. A BIG thank you to my family, friends and the entire team at Fairmont Singapore who have come along this unforgettable journey with me. I simply couldn’t have done it without their encouragement and support.”
