The Singapore finals for 2020’s BACARDÍ Legacy was held today and three finalists have emerged to carry the Singapore torch to the next stage of competitions
In a packed room at Jigger and Pony, eight finalists competed in the Singapore National Finals. Each presented their BACARDÍ Legacy cocktail, a drink that is meant to be replicable in bars. The drinks had to be made from Bacardi Carta Blanca, Carta Oro, Añejo Cuatro or Reserva Ocho and up to five other ingredients.
The competition was quite intense. We felt that all the semifinalists were well prepared and smooth in their presentations. Alas, only three could advance to the regional heats in Cebu. From there, they will compete with other national finalists for a chance to compete at the Legacy Finals in Miami next year.
