Samuel started his earnest foray into the world of fermentation in 2014, whereby New Year Resolutions isn't cutting it anymore (How many more times can you resolve to be 'nicer', 'fitter', 'more focused' without just making it a habit already) So he thought a "spirit of the year" was at least something more palatable, easier to keep up with, and actually keeps you excited year after year. Though a little early, 2016 has been proclaimed the year of the whiskey. If only they made horoscopes this way.
