After an intense eight-way competition, there could only be one.
In a 8-way Singapore finals which saw the finalists create 2 cocktails each from Woodfood Reserve whiskeys, it was As’ad Isnin of Komyuniti who emerged victorious.
As’ad, a veteran bartender, created two cocktails. The first, a take on the classic Manhattan, draws upon his experience working at a Satay stall during his formative years. The second was an original cocktail loosely based on a drink that clubbers will be a familiar with: Bourbon Coke.
As part of his winnings, As’ad will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to New York City for the Manhattan Experience finals next year, and a visit to Woodford Reserve’s distillery in Kentucky.
